この度、花菖蒲・アジサイ展開催中の加茂荘花鳥園（掛川市）にて、満開の花菖蒲を目の前に、忍者茶助と忍たま桃ノ助が隠密活動を展開する、という噂を聞きつけたのでお話を聞きに行ってきました。

　なんでも、5月の日曜日、忍者茶房「茶助（ちゃすけ）」が限定オープンするとのこと！5月5日（日）、11日（日）、19日（日）、26日（日）どの日も10－15時の開催。今年の子どもの日の掛川市は晴れて気温も上がるようですし、抹茶かき氷もすごく美味しそうですね。すごく楽しみです！

I went to Kamoso Kachoen (Kakegawa City), where the Japanese Iris and Hydrangea Exhibition is currently being held, to learn about the secret activities of Ninja Chasuke and a small Momonosuke in front of the irises in full bloom.

　I was informed that the Ninja Tea House “Chasuke” will be open on Sundays in May for a limited time!

The event will be held on May 5 (Sun), 11 (Sun), 19 (Sun), and 26 (Sun), each day from 10am to 3pm. This year's Children's Day in Kakegawa is supposed to be sunny and warm, and the green tea shaved ice looks delicious. I'm really looking forward to it!

茶助さんは語る-忍者と抹茶かき氷-

日本屈指のお茶処【掛川】ですが、昨今は茶業界が危機に面している。ペットボトルで飲まれるお茶が主流になり、販売価格の高いリーフのお茶が売れなくなってきている。

こうなると、お茶の販売価格も下がりお茶農家さんらが悲鳴をあげ、儲からないことから茶農家の後継者不足も歯止めが効かない。

掛川の茶業界の未来を救うべく、立ち上がったのが、掛川生まれの【忍者茶助】。名前の茶助の由来も掛川のお茶から来ている。

まだまだ認知度は低いが、掛川では抹茶の生産にも力を入れ始めている。

この掛川抹茶をPRし、掛川の茶業界を救うべく、掛川抹茶をふんだんに使用した忍者かき氷を茶助が考案した。

忍者がかき氷を作れば

白玉を刺す串は刀の如く、

ほし型のあられは手裏剣の如く。

このあられは掛川の老舗あられ屋とのコラボレーション。甘い抹茶蜜と、しょっぱくてサクサク食感のあられは相性抜群で、今までに無い新たな抹茶スイーツがここに誕生した。

【かき氷✖️あられ】はかき氷界に新たな風を巻き起こすこと間違いなし。

そして茶助が支える加茂荘花鳥園からこの新たな抹茶スイーツ【忍者かき氷】を発信する！

Chasuke-san talks – Ninja and Matcha (Green Tea) Shaved Ice

One of Japan's best tea production centers [Kakegawa], but the tea industry is facing a crisis these days. Tea consumed in plastic bottles has become mainstream, and leaf tea, which has a high selling price, is no longer selling well.

This has caused the selling price of tea to fall, which has made the tea farmers cry out, and the lack of successors to the tea farmers is also unstoppable due to the lack of profits.

In order to save the future of Kakegawa's tea industry, the Kakegawa-born “Ninja Chasuke” has come into being. The name “Chasuke” also comes from Kakegawa's tea.

Although not yet well known, Kakegawa began to focus on the production of matcha.

In order to promote Kakegawa Matcha and save Kakegawa's tea industry, Chasuke invented Ninja Shaved Ice (Kakigori), which uses a lot of Kakegawa Matcha.

When a ninja makes shaved ice

The stick for the shiratama is like a sword,

The star-shaped rice crackers are like shurikens.

This arare is a collaboration with a long-established rice cracker (Arare) shop in Kakegawa. The sweet matcha honey and the crunchy, salty arare are a perfect match, creating a new matcha sweet that has never been seen before.

Kakigori ✖️ Arare is sure to create a new stir in the shaved ice world.

And from Kamoso Katorien, strongly supported by Chasuke, this new matcha Shaved Ice [Ninja Kakigori] is now available!
